Meet Amy
After more than 30 years helping buyers and sellers across Middle Tennessee, I've learned that buying or selling a home isn't just a transaction—it's often one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions a person will make.
That's why I built Cannontown Real Estate differently.
As the owner and broker of a small, service-focused brokerage, I intentionally work with a limited number of clients so everyone receives the attention, communication, and guidance they deserve. When you hire me, you're working directly with me from start to finish—not being handed off to a team.
Whether you're purchasing your first home, selling a property you've loved for decades, relocating, navigating an estate, or building wealth through investment real estate, my goal is simple: make the process feel less overwhelming and help you make confident decisions every step of the way.
I believe real estate should be straightforward. My job is to explain the complicated parts, anticipate problems before they become surprises, negotiate strategically when it matters, and always put your interests first.
My clients often tell me they appreciate my honest advice, calm approach, and willingness to tell them what they need to hear—not just what they want to hear.
Every transaction is different. Some are exciting. Others come during life's most stressful seasons. Whether you're celebrating a new beginning or navigating a difficult transition, my goal is to provide steady guidance, honest advice, and an experience that leaves you feeling informed, confident, and never alone in the process.
Experience & Leadership
I've been a licensed REALTOR® since 1995 and founded Cannontown Real Estate in 2016 after years of serving buyers and sellers throughout Middle Tennessee.
Beyond serving clients, I've dedicated much of my career to improving the real estate profession itself. I've served in leadership positions at both the local and state REALTOR® association levels, including serving as Division Vice President for Tennessee REALTORS®. I've also chaired numerous committees and continue volunteering my time to strengthen our industry through professionalism, ethics, education, and advocacy.
Those experiences have made me a better broker, a stronger negotiator, and ultimately a better advocate for my clients.
When I'm Not Selling Real Estate
I'm originally from East Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee before making Middle Tennessee my home.
I'm married to my husband, Preston, and we're proud parents of two adult children. Our house is usually full of dogs, so if you're an animal lover, we'll probably have plenty to talk about. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me hiking, traveling, laughing at stand-up comedy, or spending time with family and a handful of lifelong friends.
Giving back is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I'm passionate about supporting organizations that serve our unhoused neighbors, especially Room In The Inn, as well as several animal rescue organizations dedicated to giving neglected and abandoned animals a second chance. I believe strong communities are built by people who care for one another—and that extends to both people and animals.
